This AR Poster was designed as a protest poster to support the existence of the internet archive. The 24x26 poster features a bust of Alexander the Great, and the statement “Knowledge has been passed down for ages” before scanning the QR code. Once the code is scanned Alexander moves forward to reveal some of the most influential philosophers and scientists in human history. This includes, Siddhartha, Socrates, Da Vinci, Newton, Confucius, Curie, and Darwin.

A few moments after the AR experience begins, each figure glitches out, disappearing from view. The glitch represents the loss of their knowledge from digital archives if the internet archive isn’t supported.

Once everyone disappears, the message of support for the archive appears, along with a clickable link to donate to the cause.
